In an alternate 20th century Kyoto, two brothers dream of bringing about the Age of Electricity with their 20th Century Electrical Catalog. However, when Seiroku Sakamoto brings the catalog with him to war and never returns, his younger brother Kihachi Sakamoto is left by himself. One day, a chance meeting with Inako Momokawa, the daughter of a sake brewer, reunites Kihachi with the lost catalog and kickstarts this dream once more. However, he isn't the only one who wants the catalog...

Early 20th-century Kyoto. Kihachi witnesses the wonders of electricity with Seiroku. Four years later, alone and cynical, he meets a girl deep in prayer.

In a haze of incense, Yosuke storms into Kihachi's workshop and demands the Catalog — and his fiancée. But why does Inako have it in the first place?
03. Their Dream
Full of denial, Yosuke clashes with Kihachi. Later, Inako's sharp senses reveal a secret and her belief inspires Kihachi to recreate an invention.
04. The Steadfast Girl
Inako meets a grieving shop owner whose loss echoes her own. Fully believing in Kihachi's skills, she asks him to build an electric machine to help.
