While Baki spends a day reflecting on his relationship with social life, Nihan finds herself at an unwanted social event.

Nihan, in an effort to reconnect with social life, invites Baki to a café. But when the sisters who have just lost their father extend an invitation, neither Nihan nor Baki can refuse, and they find themselves at a house of mourning.

The new machine installed at the funeral washing room deepens Baki’s already strained relationship with technology.

Interviews are held for a new apprentice who will work alongside Nihan. Meanwhile, Nadir is forced to confront a new challenge that comes with being a "gassal."

When Baki learns that the residents of a nursing home have not been told about their friend’s passing, he sets out with Nihan and the imam to make it right.

Hande reminds Baki that it is time to take the next step toward marriage. With the imam and Affan at his side, Baki sets out to choose a ring and prepare for the proposal.

Baki and Affan set out to find Zamzam water to fulfill the final wish of the deceased brought to the washing room. Meanwhile, a doctor asks Baki to undergo additional tests during his pre-marriage medical check.

Baki’s not-so-warm-hearted father suddenly appears at his door, and he is not alone. After traveling to Eskişehir for a funeral, Baki returns home and confronts his father about his mother’s death.

A prospective foster family is found for the children, but Baki keeps finding fault with every candidate. In the end, he is forced to explain to the social services officers what is really troubling him.

Unable to find answers from Baki, Nihan goes on a solitary picnic. When Musa learns that Bekir has been released from prison, he sets off after him, driven by a desire for revenge.
