Jo-Ellen and Rosie clash over rumors about Kelsey's unconventional relationship. New to Rhode Island, Ashley learns to fit in with a group of friends whose history runs deep. Small town secrets come to the surface at Jo-Ellen's Fourth of July party.

Ashley opens up about the stress Jared is under due to the demands of their coffee shop. Rulla accuses Jo-Ellen of spreading gossip about an alleged affair. Kelsey invites all the girls to the Newport Winery for wine tasting and rumor squashing.

Rulla hosts a Lebanese lunch where she seeks advice from her close friends. Alicia opens up to Liz about her fear of marriage. Ashley and Jared attempt a date night. Liz throws a Studio 54-themed party where Rulla and Jo-Ellen, and their husbands, come face-to-face.

After their explosive fight, Kelsey and Liz are forced to confront issues in their friendship. Alicia’s aunts have a few wise words for Rulla regarding her marriage. The ladies go on a railroad excursion that ends with another friendship possibly being derailed.
