Season 1

Kamlesh loves Arun like a son and reluctantly accepts his marriage to Pooja. On their wedding night, Arun disregards Pooja's illness while Kamlesh, unaware, celebrates outside.

Pooja shares her experience with her mother, but she brushes off her worries and urges her to return. On her way back, Pooja makes the decision to escape.

Kamlesh disbelieves the concept of marital rape and ignores Pooja's pleas. However, Kamlesh educates herself on the issue, and something shifts within her.

Pooja and Kamlesh wait for the right moment to approach Bhramar, believing he will support them. Meanwhile, Kamlesh admits that she is partly responsible for Arun's behaviour.

Kamlesh is let down after Bhramar refuses to act against Arun. With Vinay's support, she takes Pooja to her grandfather, only to learn there's no legal recourse for marital rape.

Bhramar tries manipulating the situation, causing their defiance to weaken. However, drawing inspiration from an unexpected source, they prepare to fight the system publicly.
