In the first days of Willem Holleeder's criminal case, Astrid prepares for her interrogation. Willem Holleeder comes up with previously unmentioned information and tries to put Sonja and Astrid in a bad light. But Astrid can also play this game and she goes looking for new ammunition.

Emotions run high on both parties during the days of Astrid's interrogation. When the criminal case continues and deals with the murder of Willem Endstra, Astrid tries to find ways to protect herself.

The Holleeder family finds new friends in all shapes and sizes. Astrid's pursuit of safety threatens to turn into paranoia. As a result, she chases away what is old and familiar and becomes increasingly distant from everyone around her.

The case surrounding the liquidation of Thomas van der Bijl is being dealt with. Astrid's situation causes health problems, with the doctor's advice: as little stress as possible. When she and her daughter are seriously threatened, Astrid struggles to keep her cool.

The last days of Willem Holleeder's trial have arrived. Willem still has Astrid in his grasp and so they both remain prisoners. The last testimonies are made, the last words are exchanged. While Astrid waits for the verdict, she wonders: will I ever really be free of Willem?
